Arrival Information

Official Arrival Date
You must arrive in the United States at least by the date indicated on your Form I-20. It is recommended that you plan your arrival for the Saturday before classes begin to participate in the Orientation process.  Orientation presents information you need about becoming an RU student before you start your first semester.  It's an important step to take where you will learn about all the resources that RU has to offer. In addition to meeting faculty and staff, Orientation also provides you the opportunity to meet students leaders who will introduce you to the spirit and tranditions of RU, the academic life at the Univeristy and other new students.  Please take a few minutes to review the Orientation Schedules.  You may arrive in the United States as early as 30 days prior to the official arrival date indicated on your I-20. If you have applied for on-campus housing you will not be allowed to move in to the residence until the Saturday before classes begin.
