American Red Cross Assistant Station Manager - Armed Forces Emergency Services
This position assists with emergency services for members of the military and their families. Responsibilities include administering emergency communications and casework services, participating in fund raising and public relations projects, and maintaining records and statistics for reporting purposes.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of America - Case Manager
This position interviews, assesses, and screens children, parents and volunteers for a one-to-one mentoring experience. The position requires good relationship-building skills, match interviewing, record keeping, problem-solving skills and an ability to work with groups. Case managers must also work effectively in collaboration with other agencies.

Boy Scouts of America District Executive - entry level
This position is responsible for the growth, extension, quality, program enhancement and supervision of Cub Scouting and Boy Scouting within a specified area. This is accomplished through identification, cultivation, recruitment and guidance of a corps of volunteers. The District Executive also assist with public relations and fundraising.

Boys & Girls Clubs of America
Education Director This position ensures the health and safety of members, creates the Club's climate for youth development, plans programs and activities, implements daily program activities, provides guidance services, manages administrative functions and assigned resources, promotes and markets programs to members, and integrates activities with the Club's education program to help youth prepare for the future.

Camp Fire Boys and Girls Program Director - Day Camp/Training/Club Camping
The Program Director coordinates outdoor program activities as related to day camp, training and club camping, and also recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers and paid staff. The Program Director is also responsible for budgeting, marketing, implementing and evaluating programs.

Catholic Charities USA Fund Development Specialist
This position researches donor prospects, assists in writing grant proposals, plans and implements special events, and assists with other fundraising efforts such as the annual appeal. The Fund Development Specialist works with the development director to cultivate new or existing donors.

Girls Incorporated Teen Coordinator
This position assesses needs and desires of teens, implements programs to meet those needs and ensures that program components include work readiness, informal education, life skills and creative use of leisure time.

Girl Scouts of the USA Membership/Field Director
This position develops and manages the delivery of services to girls through the use of adult volunteers. This individual implements membership development plans to ensure the recruitment and retention of girls and adults. Responsibilities include recruiting, appointing, training, evaluating and managing the work of administrative volunteers.

Habitat for Humanity International Marketing Manager
This position acquires financial and volunteer resources to support programs through direct marketing of programs and special events. This person implements public relations plans to develop a broader market base, and develops and executes sponsorships, incentives and special events to meet financial goals.

Junior Achievement, Inc. Education Manager
This position manages programs with particular emphasis on recruiting, training, placement, support and recognition. This individual assures adherence to program models and program expansion, and develops and maintains good educator relationships at all levels.

National Network for Youth Special Program Director
This position develops and administers programs and works directly with special groups, such as endangered youth. This individual may supervise field work students, work with committees, manage budgets, write proposals, obtain funds, and administer special programs.

National Urban League Finance/Database Clerk
This position determines source and purpose of all incoming funds and in-kind contributions, keep accurate records, makes daily deposits, and maintains a database of supplemental information on all sources of income. Other responsibilities include maintaining forms and correspondence, and updating websites.

Special Olympics, Inc. Special Events Coordinator
This position develops, coordinates, directs and administers all grassroots fundraising initiatives. Responsibilities include recruiting, managing and motivating volunteers and corporate leaders, in addition to cultivating strategies and identifying participant corporations for sponsorship.

United Way of America Public Relations or Communications Director
This position develops, coordinates, directs and administers all public relations-related policies. This individual may be responsible for writing speeches, new articles and communicating new programs, organization developments and other information to the media.

Volunteers of America Community Relations and Recruitment Representative
This position is responsible for developing and administering all volunteer recruitment and community support activities. This person works with top management to obtain new avenues to gain greater exposure and involvement with populations currently targeted by the agency.

YMCA of the USA Day Care Director or Before/After School Coordinator
This person is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the day-care &/or after-school program for children and youth at one of several sites. The Day Care Director may also be responsible for supervising staff members and volunteers.

YWCA of the USA Membership/Volunteer Development Director
This person recruits and retains members within established policies and practices, assures effective communications with members regarding the philosophy and programs of the YWCA and interviews potential program and administrative volunteers, matching needs and interests with YWCA requirements.
