We are proud of our high quality programs and our accomplishments. Our Jesuit Mission reaffirms our commitment to excellence in teaching and advising for our students in the context of the three central themes of our Conceptual Framework: teaching for social justice, focusing on moral reflection and embracing intellectual rigor.

We have strong ties with our liberal arts campus and with area schools that result in high quality experiences for the children in Kansas City schools both public and private, as well as for our undergraduate and graduate students as developing pre-service teachers.

The quality of our undergraduate and graduate programs continues to build with a track record of 100% pass rate on the Praxis II licensure exam for teacher certification. Our employment rate is at 96% for 2006. Our Read the World Literacy Conference  continues to track internationally and nationally known scholars.
