Bachelor students: 2.5 cumulative grade point average, pass the College Basic Academic Subjects examination (College BASE), pass the Praxis II examination, successfully complete all education courses, general education courses, and content area courses as designated by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education with a grade of C or higher, and succesfully complete the Portfolio.
Master students: 3.0 cumulative grade point average, pass the Praxis II examination, successfully complete all education courses, general education courses, and content area courses as designated by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education with a grade of C or higher, and successfully complete the Portfolio.
The Praxis Series

Electronic Student Portfolio
Each Education student develops an electronic student portfolio. The portfolio will help you develop and clarify your own personal philosophy of education. Learn about the

If you are seeking initial teacher certification, or if you are certified in another state or country and are seeking Missouri certification, please contact the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
Out-of-State Certification
