Chelsea Meyer, Education Class of 2009
"Rockhurst’s elementary education program has an intimate, personal setting in the ...
University classroom, and offers first-hand experiential learning through observation and student interaction in various elementary school classrooms throughout Kansas City. One of the primary reasons I chose to attend Rockhurst was because of the many opportunities the education program provides for the pre-service teacher to experience what it is really like in the classroom. I feel the program has fully prepared me to be the type of teacher who is motivated to teach and whose students pick up on that enthusiasm and are therefore motivated to learn. "
