Program Options
Master's of Science
The Master's of Science program
was created to provide a solid foundation of required
courses to prepare students to provide assessment and
treatment of pediatric and adult clients. Students
choose electives in areas of interest such as autism,
hearing loss, adult disorders or multicultural populations. All clinical hours are obtained in the community in sites such as hospitals, schools or
clinics so students receive real world experience.
Students
may complete the master's program full- or part-time
and a program of study may be started in the fall semester.

Prep-Track
Do you have a bachelor's degree in something other than
Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD)? Are you
thinking about changing careers? The Rockhurst CSD program
has launched a post-bachelor's Prep Track especially
for you that will allow you to obtain a master's degree
in three years!
Once accepted into the graduate
program, the prep track provides the opportunity for
those individuals recent graduates as well as
non-traditional students who hold undergraduate
degrees in disciplines other than CSD to complete all
required undergraduate coursework related to CSD during
two semesters of coursework. You are then guaranteed
a place in the next year's graduate class to allow you
to complete your master's degree. |
