Rock Solid Faculty

Rockhurst's outstanding faculty strive to teach you how to think, not what to think. That's why the prestigious Carnegie Foundation has recognized the quality of Rockhurst's faculty by naming it one of only 12 teaching and learning leadership sites in the United States. Full, experienced professors teach courses, and small class sizes encourage rich classroom discussions. Faculty are assigned to work individually with students as advisors and caring mentors.

Faculty engage undergraduate students in research projects ranging from finding natural alternatives to pesticides, to authoring books on a U.S. senator and presenting papers at national political science conferences.

Public Relations and Marketing made every effort to gather a complete 2007-08 list of books, articles, external presentations and awards of full-time Rockhurst faculty from the academic deans. If you find something is left out, please e-mail rockhurstpr@rockhurst.edu.
