  • Prerequisite Course Requirements
  • Core Courses (30 hours)
  • Electives Courses (6 hours)

Most of the prerequisite evening MBA courses are met with an undergraduate degree in business, and most students who need prerequisites choose to start the MBA and take them in tandem with their graduate work. To meet the core requirements, all courses need to be completed with a grade of C or better.

  • Principles of Accounting (waived in lieu of 6 hours of undergraduate accounting)
  • Applied Quantitative Methods (waived in lieu of 6 hours of undergraduate statistics or quantitative analysis)
  • Principles of Economics (waived in lieu of 6 hours macro and microeconomics)
  • Essentials of Finance (or equivalent)
  • Management Information Systems (or equivalent)
  • Principles of Marketing (or equivalent)
  • Introduction to Corporate Social Responsibility (1)
  • Effective Communication for Leaders (3)
  • Managerial Accounting (3)
  • Financial Policy (3)
  • Managerial Economics (3)
  • Production Operations Management (3)
  • Leadership and Organizational Behavior (3)
  • Marketing Management (3)
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (2)
  • Business Policy (3)
  • International Business Elective (3)

These courses give students the opportunity to focus on their individual interests or professional development. If a student wishes to select a focus, at least six hours are required in the chosen area.
