Helzberg School of Management
International Business
The bachelor of science in business administration
degree with an international business area of concentration
requires two years of a foreign language so
students can demonstrate a working knowledge of
a language other than English. It is recommended
that all students consider participating in a semester
abroad program to gain first-hand experience of
a foreign culture.
Consider This
Business is conducted in every corner of the
world, from the corner street market to multi-billion
dollar conglomerates. Students who concentrate
in International Business will find themselves
part of a global business culture.
Case studies, field consultation with real world
clients, individual and group projects, computer
simulations and Internet applications are just
some of the ways that students learn about an
expanding global market at the Helzberg School
of Management. Students study such critical topics
as foreign exchange and exchange management,
balance of payments, international financial
markets, and social and cultural environment
issues.
Careers
Every phase of the business endeavor
can have an international aspect. For example,
human resources, finance, economics, management,
marketing, advertising, logistics and law can
all play a role in international business. |
