To be eligible for an internship, a student must be a full-time undergraduate with at least 60 credit hours completed. Transfer students must complete one semester at Rockhurst before starting internship.

Guidelines

• Credit is awarded based upon the total number of hours worked during the Co-op semester using the following formula: 1 credit / 120 hours worked; 2 credits / 240 hours worked; and 3 credits / 360 hours worked.
• Students may earn up to six (6) academic credits for paid work experiences related to their academic major by enrolling in a Co-op course.

Get started early
The first step is to fill out an application and RU Career Account registration, available in Career Services. Make an appointment with the Assistant Director of Career Services and bring your paperwork and a rough draft resume. A variety of positions are available year round; beginning your search early will give you the most opportunities.
